The Virginia Statewide Traffic Incident Management Committee is pleased to offer a free training course that covers all the latest policies, procedures and best practices for organizations involved with traffic incident management.
The purpose of this Virginia-specific course is to make first responders aware of safe, quick clearance strategies for Traffic Incident Management.
This program emphasizes the proven benefits of a unified multidisciplinary approach and was developed, reviewed and field-tested by first responders and their respective agencies.
It gives detailed instruction and examples that involves clearing an incident scene as soon as practical to restore normal traffic flow while also optimizing operational efficiency across first-responders involved in an incident.
